15th August 2009 Pictures from Bruce Perkins (via Ron Wheeldon) of J-4202, 15th August 2009. 4202 was taking part in the "Ultimate Challenge Air Race" which was an non-handicap "open to all comers" race from Rustenberg (and back to Rustenberg) organised by the South African power flying association. The Hunter won (unsurprisingly) but she actually set a new SA record (no 042) for a 500km closed course at an average 877 km/h. All pictures on this page © Bruce Perkins
