Immediately prior to going out of service, 4012 took part in a battle-damage repair exercise on 17th November 1993 at St Stephan, carried out by the Reparatur Zug (repair team) of FlKp18. The process of this K-Rep (Battle Repair) exercise involved a small explosive charge which damaged the control linkages at the base of the fin. After the repair the aircraft was flown to Interlaken, and struck off charge. All pictures on this page © Marcel Walter, 2009
